Piper High School Football Falls to Cardinal Gibbons in Kickoff Classic

The Piper High School football team was in action for the kickoff classic against Cardinal Gibbons High School on Thursday, falling 31-0.

The Bengals are coming off a season where they went 10-2, including a playoff win against Doral Academy. They ended up falling to West Broward and had their only other loss come against Monarch High School.

Piper will play Peachtree Ridge High School in their first regular season game on Thursday, August 21, at 4 p.m. The Lions went 6-6 last year and rank as the 60th-best team in Georgia. The Bengals will then play regular-season games against Coconut Creek, South Plantation, Plantation, Blanche Ely, Coral Springs High School, Boyd H. Anderson, Fort Lauderdale, Monarch, and South Broward.
