A woman is accused of making hundreds of calls to her ex, harassing his family, and sending his nude picture to his sister, police say.
According to a Sunrise PD arrest report, Meredith Hana Greene, 35, of Plantation, was arrested March 4 on charges of sexual cyberharassment and stalking. According to the probable cause affidavit, the investigation began after the victim went to Sunrise police in December to report what detectives described as a pattern of malicious and repeated harassment by Greene, identified as his former girlfriend.
The victim told police he ended their relationship after Greene allegedly arrived uninvited at his home, drove onto his lawn, and refused to leave when asked. He told police that after the breakup, Greene repeatedly contacted him through her known number, multiple unknown numbers, and calls with “No Caller ID.”
Investigators wrote in the report that the victim reported receiving hundreds of calls and messages, even after blocking Greene’s primary number, and said the ongoing contact caused him substantial emotional distress, including loss of sleep and appetite.
According to the affidavit, Greene also sent repeated messages to the victim’s mother, father, and sister from various numbers. The affidavit says Greene also contacted at least one of his personal training clients through social media and text message in what investigators described as an attempt to damage his reputation and employment.
The most serious allegation in the case involves the distribution of an explicit image. Police say Greene texted a screenshot of a nude image of the victim to his sister without his consent.
The affidavit lays out a lengthy timeline of evidence. On some days, Solomon reportedly received dozens of blocked calls, including about 70 “No Caller ID” calls on December 10 alone. Police said messages sent that day and in the days that followed ranged from apologetic pleas to listen to increasingly hostile accusations.
Greene was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail. She was later released after posting a $5,000 bond.
