Coconut Creek Football Wins Playoff Opener; Soccer Teams Begin Season

The Coconut Creek High School football team only played three plays before their game against Deerfield Beach High School was postponed. This game had been previously postponed after it was canceled due to lightning on Friday. The new start date has not been announced yet.

Next, the Cougars will play Cardinal Gibbons High School on Friday, September 20, at 7 p.m. The Chiefs are 1-2 this year, with a win over South Broward High School but losses against Lake Mary West Broward High School.
