Carolina Rodriguez is an accomplished student at Coral Springs Charter School.
A senior who lives in the city, Rodriguez is a drum major in the marching band and has a 4.7 grade point average.
She plays the flute and told Coral Springs Talk that she loves being in the marching band.
“For me, the band is a family, and we are all very good friends,” she said.
Rodriguez is a talented student completing the Cambridge AICE program. Her favorite subject is English.
She is vice president of the National Honor Society for Music and Performing Arts and a member of HOSA. She has also participated in the blood drive at Coral Springs Charter.
Her goal after high school is to attend the University of South Florida and study exercise science.
According to band director David Cardona, Rodriguez is a dedicated musician and respected leader.
