The City of Coconut Creek has announced its upcoming Adult Flag Football League for 2025. This league provides an enjoyable and competitive environment for adults to stay active and participate in the game.
Designed for participants aged 18 and older, the league will feature a 7-on-7 format, ensuring plenty of action on the field. Teams will compete in ten regular-season games, followed by playoffs and a championship. Four teams will qualify for the playoffs, which will follow a single-elimination format.
The championship team will be awarded a trophy along with prizes.
The games will take place on Wednesday nights from January 15 through April 9, 2025, at George S. Gerber Memorial Park, located at 4715 NW 30th Street.
During rainouts, makeup games will be scheduled for Saturday mornings on February 8, March 1, and April 5.
The team registration fee is $550, which must be paid in full via credit card at the time of registration. Each team must provide matching, numbered shirts, with shirt colors and team names being assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams must consist of at least seven players, with a maximum of 15 allowed.
For those individuals who do not have a team but are eager to join the league, the City encourages them to email CreekSportsFootball@coconutcreek.net to be added to the free agent list. There is no charge to be added to the list, and individuals will be eligible for selection by existing teams.
Registration is currently open and will continue until all spots are filled. Space is limited to just six teams, so early registration is encouraged. Interested participants can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
