The City of Coconut Creek has launched three new pickleball leagues for adults looking to stay active and have fun.
Designed for men, women, and fixed partners, each league offers a different playing format and skill level. With games scheduled throughout the week, participants have plenty of opportunities to get involved.
Men’s League
The Men’s Pickleball League is an outdoor league open to men of all skill levels, from beginner to intermediate. The league will follow a rotational partner round-robin playing format, with each participant playing a maximum of three games per night.
The men’s league meets on Mondays, from February 27 through May 22, with preseason matches on February 27. The games will be held at the Community Center outdoor courts on 1100 Lyons Road at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m.
Fixed Partners
Fixed Partners is an outdoor league open to teams of two players, regardless of gender and playing level. The league follows a fixed team round-robin playing format, with each participant playing a maximum of four games per night, and takes place on Thursdays, from March 2 through May 18, with games scheduled for 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m.
Women’s League
The Women’s Pickleball League is an outdoor league for women of all skill levels, from beginner to intermediate, and follows a rotational partner round-robin playing format, with each participant playing a maximum of three games per night.
Taking place on Tuesdays, from February 28 through May 23, they’ll hold preseason matches on February 28. The games will be held at the Community Center outdoor courts on 1100 Lyons Road at games are scheduled for 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m.
All three leagues have a registration fee of $40 for Coconut Creek residents and $50 for non-residents, and credit card payment is the only form of payment accepted. Participants can register online at www.CoconutCreek.net/Webtrac or by walk-in at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
Registration is ongoing until the league is full, and participants must have a WebTrac account before registering online.
