
WoofStock {City of Sunrise}
The City of Sunrise is once again hosting its annual WoofStock celebration on Saturday, February 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Welleby Park. This free event promises to be a day filled with excitement, entertainment, and activities for dogs and their owners.
Celebrating the bond between dogs and their owners, WoofStock will feature an array of dog-centric entertainment, including Air K9z Frisbee Shows, costume contests, wiener dog races, and a Sunrise Police Department K-9 demonstration. There will also be a variety of specialty retail vendors, food stalls, and contests offering something for everyone.
Highlights of the event include:
- 10:30 a.m. – Air K9z Frisbee Show
- 11:00 a.m. – Costume Contests: Funniest, Most Creative
- 11:30 a.m. – Wiener Dog Races
- Noon – Air K9z Frisbee Show
- 12:30 p.m. – Sunrise PD K-9 Demonstration
For those looking to adopt a furry friend, rescue groups will be on-site offering pets for adoption.
Please note that retractable leashes are not permitted at the event. Visitors are encouraged to follow event guidelines and rules for a safe and enjoyable experience.
