Bowl for a cause at the 11th annual P.A.R.O.T. Bowling Tournament and raise funds for parks.
Held on Wednesday, January 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bowlero Tamarac, the event supports the Park and Recreation Foundation of Tamarac, with funds going to recreation programs and events in local parks.
Bowlers can join for $50 and play in teams. The tournament also accepts T-Shirt Sponsors for $600, Food Sponsors for $300, Lane Sponsors for $100, and a Title Sponsor for $1,600.
P.A.R.O.T. foundation was established to secure support for the Tamarac Parks & Recreation Department through donations, grants, and sponsorships. In the past, the organization used the funds it raised for special needs playground equipment, youth program grants, scholarships, and fitness areas and benches at Tamarac parks.
