A Message from Coral Springs Police Chief Bradley McKeone
April marks Autism Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
Autism is a multifaceted neurological condition that can affect communication, social interaction, and sensory processing.
Every May we observe National Police Week, recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of law enforcement officers nationwide. In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls as National Police Week.
Thank you to the men and women of CSPD and to law enforcement agencies across the nation for your hard work. If you see officers during this week, please take a moment to express your appreciation for their commitment to keeping our communities safe.
As we approach the end of the school year, we prioritize ensuring a safe and enjoyable summer for our residents. Our School Resource Officers had fun creating a short and informative video to promote summer safety summer.
Additionally, as we enter the summer months, it’s crucial to remain vigilant against vehicle burglaries. To prevent such incidents, we created a video with helpful tips.
As we transition into June, we enter Hurricane Season. Preparedness is key to safeguarding your family and property. Take the time to review your emergency supplies, including flashlights, generators, and storm shutters, and review your family emergency plan.
