Coconut Creek is gearing up for the 2024 Girls Basketball League, welcoming participants aged 7 to 17 as of September 30, 2024.
The league promises an exciting season, featuring ten regular games followed by playoffs. Matches are scheduled on Saturdays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from August 21 through October 26. However, there will be no games on August 31, October 2, and October 12, with all dates subject to adjustments based on registration numbers.
Divided into three age divisions: 10U for ages 7 to 10, 13U for ages 11 to 13, and 17U for ages 14 to 17. Each registration includes a jersey and shorts, ensuring all players are fully equipped for the season.
The season will kick off with Skills & Drills Clinics on Saturday, June 29, with specific times to be announced. Following the clinics, drafts and player evaluations are set for July 8, and practices will commence July 15, signaling the start of intense preparation for the upcoming games.
Registration is now open and will continue through June 29 or until spots are filled. The fees are $120 for Coconut Creek residents and $170 for non-residents, with payment accepted via credit card only. Participants can register online through the City’s WebTrac system or by walking into the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
