Residents can experience this year’s highly anticipated annual holiday parade, where local schools, organizations, and community members unite to share their creativity and holiday spirit.
This year’s parade theme, Magical Memories: A Ride Down Memory Lane, invites attendees to reflect on cherished holidays past and present through floats, marching bands, and performances.
Held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. along Sample Road, near City Hall at 9500 West Sample Road. Free parking will be available at the City Hall garage until 6:30 p.m. or until capacity is reached. Handicap-accessible parking is located across from City Hall and accessible from Coral Hills Drive via Wiles Road with a valid decal.
Residents and visitors should bring lawn chairs and blankets to view the parade route. Handicap seating will be available at the intersection of Sample Road and Coral Hills Drive at City Hall’s viewing area. Local restaurants and shops may also provide seating options.
For added convenience, porta potties will be stationed near Burger King and Wendy’s and across from City Hall, with additional restrooms inside City Hall.
According to a city statement, road closures will begin at 5 p.m. on parade day, affecting Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, as well as Coral Springs Drive north of Royal Palm Boulevard and south of NW 37th Street. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. Private golf carts are prohibited, but pedestrian traffic will be allowed.
If you can’t make it to the Holiday Parade or have family members in another city, it will be streamed the day after onCoralSprings.gov/citytv.
