Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through December 4.
Property Damage
A victim of Property Damage on Coconut Creek Parkway on 11/28/2023. A walkway roof collapse was reported.
Theft
A victim of Theft – All Other at Wynmoor on Lucaya Lane on 11/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $5,005. Unknown suspect(s) stole currency with no signs of a break-in.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Chesterbrook Academy on 12/01/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,700.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Wynmoor on 12/02/2023. The total estimated loss was $600. Auto parts were stolen from a Toyota Tacoma.
A victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories at Wynmoor on 12/02/2023. The total estimated loss was $600. Auto parts were stolen from a Mitsubishi Outlander.
Kohls was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 on 11/30/2023. The total estimated loss was $540.
A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Publix on N State Road 7 on 11/28/2023. Theft of bank envelope was reported.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto on 11/28/2023 The stolen vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Plantation.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Julia Gardens on Julia Gardens Drive on 11/30/2023. An unknown male took a black Nissan Murano.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Bayview on 12/01/2023.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud – Impersonation on Lyons Road on 11/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,010. Cash was withdrawn fraudulently from an ATM at Wells Fargo.
A victim of Fraud – Identity Theft at Lakewood East on NW 48 Avenue on 11/28/2023.
A victim of Fraud – Use Of Credit Card at Sephora on 11/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $330.
Robbery
A victim of Robbery – Unarmed Strongarm at South Creek on Cedarhill Road on 11/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $100.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary – Residence on Nassau Bend on 11/30/2023. The total estimated loss was $176. A Roomba vacuum and other unknown items were taken.
Death
A victim of Death – Suspicious/unknown at Banyan Trails on Banyan Trails Drive on 11/30/2023.
Arrests
Lalchan, Sheldon, Antonio, 49, was arrested on a charge of Violence Injunction Protection Domestic Violence at 4151 Coral Tree Circle on 11/28/2023.
Rocha, Rosangela, Vitoria, 49, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence on 11/29/2023.
Gervolino, Portia, Maria, 34, was arrested on a Resist/Obstruct W/Out Violence charge at 3700 Coconut Creek Parkway on 11/30/2023.
Glenn, Kenneth, Fitzgerald, 34, was arrested on a Grand Theft >$750 <$5000 charge at 4550 N State Road 7 on 11/30/2023.
Batista, Reynaldo, 31, was arrested on a charge of Battery Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence at 6270 Swans Terrace on 11/30/2023.
Stevens, Domenica, 73, was arrested on a Burglary Unoccupied Dwelling Unarmed charge on 12/01/2023.
Rodriguez, Raul, Alfonso, 51, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence at 4721 Grand Cypress Circle N on 12/03/2023.
