South Florida food lovers will have three opportunities to enjoy chef-curated, four-course dining experiences while supporting a local nonprofit during the final installments of Arc Culinary's Chef Experience dinner series.
Hosted at the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen on the Arc Broward campus, the immersive dinners combine seasonal menus, chef interactions and communal dining to benefit Arc Broward's programs for children and adults with disabilities.
The remaining events include "Presidential Palate" on Saturday, Aug. 8, "East Meets West" on Thursday, Sept. 3, and "Fall's Harvest" on Thursday, Sept. 24. All dinners begin at 7 p.m.
Each event features a one-night-only menu inspired by a unique culinary theme and gives guests the opportunity to watch chefs prepare the meals in Arc Culinary's open kitchen while learning about the techniques and inspiration behind each course.
"These dinners offer a unique opportunity for guests to interact with the chef and connect with fellow diners, all while supporting Arc Broward's mission, creating an experience that is as meaningful as it is memorable," said Craig Zeleznick, chief culinary officer at Arc Broward.
The Aug. 8 "Presidential Palate" dinner celebrates iconic American flavors with courses inspired by U.S. presidents, including a compressed vegetable terrine, New England clam chowder, braised short rib with molasses jus and an apple pie tart with crème fraîche.
On Sept. 3, "East Meets West" highlights Asian and Western culinary influences through dishes such as Nikkei tuna tiradito, Asian-style pork belly tacos, surf-and-turf fried rice fusion and a chef-crafted dessert.
The series concludes Sept. 24 with "Fall's Harvest," featuring seasonal ingredients in dishes including seared scallops with butternut squash velouté, roasted beet salad, filet mignon with root vegetable purée and wild mushrooms, followed by dessert.
Tickets are $102 for Chef's Table seating and $92 for communal seating. Prices include gratuity and alcoholic beverages.
Chef's Table guests receive front-row seating overlooking the kitchen and opportunities to engage directly with the culinary team, while communal seating encourages conversation among diners.
Arc Culinary and Arc Educates are revenue-generating social enterprises of Arc Broward that help fund services for approximately 1,200 children and adults with disabilities.
The Chef Experience series is sponsored by Amazon. The Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen is located at 10250 NW 53rd St. in Sunrise.
