The City of Lauderhill has announced four more swimming lessons scheduled for the rest of the year.
The aquatic facilities in Lauderhill have announced they are now offering multiple swimming lessons to individuals of all ages to teach water safety skills and swimming techniques. The lessons will take place at the Veterans Park Pool at 7600 Northwest 50th Street.
The lessons are conducted in group settings and last 30 minutes, providing an ideal environment for Floridians interested in learning life-saving water skills before the Winter.
As a bonus, the city has announced that children who successfully complete the swim lessons can join the prestigious Torpedoes Swim Team, offering them a chance to showcase their abilities and compete in various swimming events.
Swimming lessons are available weekday afternoons from Tuesday to Friday, with morning lessons offered exclusively on Saturdays to accommodate various schedules.
The class schedule for the upcoming sessions is as follows:
- July 10 – June 20
- July 31 – August 10
- August 28 – September 8
