Good day to all of you. As a proud resident of our city and a candidate for City Commissioner, Seat C, I want to take a moment to speak directly to you—especially our vibrant 55+ communities like Sunrise Lakes.
What makes Sunrise truly special is the beautiful diversity we see every day. At the recent multicultural event at Sunrise Lakes, it was heartwarming to see neighbors from so many backgrounds—Haitian, Jamaican, Latin American, Caribbean, and many others—coming together to share food, stories, laughter, and friendship. This is the spirit of Sunrise: our diversity is our strength, and our senior communities are the heart and soul of our city.
