The City of Coral Springs is expanding its services to residents by offering a new, convenient, contactless option for submitting documents to City Hall.
This is part of the city’s broader effort to streamline public services and increase accessibility for the public.
Located at 9500 W. Sample Rd., City Hall has installed a customer convenience drop box on the first floor of its parking garage, near the garage elevators. This amenity was implemented to give residents an accessible location to submit documents outside of regular business hours or when they prefer a contactless option.
The drop box can accommodate letter-size envelopes and 5×7 or 8×10 flat envelopes. This allows residents to deposit various documents, including water billing, code compliance, or business tax payments (with checks or money orders only), completed volunteer forms, building documents that meet the appropriate parcel size, and permitting forms.
However, residents should note that cash payments and U.S. mail are not accepted in the drop box.
Regarding security, the drop box is electronically monitored around the clock and remains locked. The city has arranged for collections to take place twice daily, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., during regular City Hall business hours.
Certain items are still required to be hand-delivered to the City Hall. These include all things that require backup documentation, like identification, cash payments, and permitting plans. For these items, the City Hall Lobby is open from Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
