BCAA All-Star Flag Football Game. {BCAA}
Piper High School had only three student-athletes recognized with all-conference honors during the spring sports season, but each played a significant role in the Bengals’ success in flag football and track and field.
Natalya Moore earned Second Team honors in flag football after helping lead the Bengals to a 13-4 record. Piper reached the postseason and opened the playoffs with an 18-6 victory over Coral Glades before falling to Western High School 32-12 in the next round.
The track and field team featured two Honorable Mention selections in Josh Tucker and Jamnani Chin-Suer. Tucker advanced to the state meet in the 110-meter hurdles after winning a district championship and placing fifth at the regional meet. He also finished fourth in the 4×100-meter relay at districts and placed ninth in the event at regionals. Additionally, Tucker recorded third-place finishes in both the 100-meter and 200-meter races during the regular season.
Chin Suer, who signed to play football at Florida International University, qualified for the state meet in the 400 meters after placing fourth at regionals. He also finished second in the event at the district championships and posted top-10 finishes in both the 4×100-meter and 4×400-meter relays at regionals.
