On September 2, the Margate Police Department responded to a 911 call from a victim with severe injuries violently attacked and doused in a mysterious fluid.
According to the police records detailing the chaotic scene, upon arrival, officers found the victim in her rented room, lying on the floor, and bleeding profusely from her legs.
According to the victim’s statement, the attack followed a heated verbal altercation with her alleged assailant, later identified as Salvatore Lombardi, 44, that eventually turned physical.
