Following recent severe storms and flooding across South Florida, the City of Tamarac invites residents to a public meeting to discuss the city’s vulnerability to elevated stormwater levels.
On Thursday, June 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Tamarac City Hall, located at 7525 Northwest 88th Avenue, city officials plan to discuss the crucial yet often overlooked topic of the city’s resistance to stormwater.
Attendees will have the chance to view a detailed presentation, ask storm-related questions, and provide valuable input on the assessment and the next steps to protect Tamarac from the busy hurricane season.
The meeting will also be streamed online for those unable to attend in person. Interested individuals can register to view the live stream at www.Tamarac.me/SWmeeting.
