Gregory Tyrone Norfus III {BSO}
A Sunrise man was arrested after police executed an arrest warrant charging him with multiple felony offenses involving child sexual abuse material, according to Broward County court records.
According to a Sunrise Police Department report, Gregory Tyrone Norfus III, 24, was taken into custody on February 3 after a judge signed a warrant in late January stemming from an investigation conducted by the department’s Special Victims Unit.
Court documents show the warrant was issued following allegations that Norfus transmitted and possessed child pornography using the Snapchat messaging platform. Included in the files transmitted to another user were videos featuring children ages 10 to 16, some of which included Norfus himself.
According to the arrest affidavit, the investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a CyberTip in June 2025 involving material uploaded through Snapchat. Detectives allege Norfus transmitted child sexual abuse material during an online chat and possessed additional videos depicting minors.
A later executed search warrant on his Snapchat account allegedly uncovered 11 additional videos, prompting investigators to file 12 felony counts. Records show Norfus is charged with one count of transmission of child pornography and 11 counts of possession of child pornography.
