Piper High School Top Athletes Earn All-Star Selections and Conference Honors

Piper High School’s football program received significant recognition following the season, highlighted by multiple BCAA All-Star Game selections and Conference Awards.

The Bengals had five players selected to compete in the BCAA Football All-Star Game: Alex Gammage, Nick Milfort, Kenneth Pierre, Lu Chung Manyou, and Dudley Cadet. Piper put together a strong season, finishing with a 7–5 overall record and earning a victory in the opening round of the playoffs. The cheerleading team was also represented, with Khameron Bondloss and Leylanie Aviles earning All-Star selections.

In Conference Awards, Jahnard Young was named to the First Team after a standout season in which he led Piper with 1,395 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. Young also contributed 114 receiving yards and one additional touchdown.

Gammage also earned First Team honors following an outstanding all-around season. Defensively, he recorded six interceptions, two fumble recoveries, 16 passes defended, 14 solo tackles, and one blocked field goal. Offensively, Gammage scored five touchdowns, added one special teams touchdown, and sealed Piper’s playoff victory over Charles W. Flanagan High School with a game-clinching interception.

Jahmani Chin Suer, a Florida International University signee, was selected to the Second Team after finishing the season with two interceptions and 18 pass breakups.

The girls’ volleyball team also earned Conference recognition, with Melody Delamotte and Isabella Delgado named Honorable Mentions. Delamotte finished second on the team in digs with 302, while Delgado led the team with 119 kills and 67 aces.
