The City of Sunrise Outdoor Movie Series returns with its first season feature – Twisters.
Sunrise citizens are invited for a free screening of the 2024 sequel to the original 1996 megahit film on Friday, February 7, at Piper Field, 8000 NW 44th Street.
Moviegoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to settle in for a movie under the stars beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Complimentary popcorn and snow cones will be available throughout the film, but attendees are invited to bring snacks.
The event is free and open to the public thanks to this year’s sponsor – the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
