Get ready to groove through a nostalgic night of Doo-Wop melodies with John Tarangelo as he brings back the golden era of music to the Kings Point Palace stage.
Held on Saturday, December 2, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
Born in the Bronx and singing since he was nine years old, Tarangelo’s impressive tenor voice got him a spot in his first Doo Wop group at the age of 13. Later in life, he sang with the popular 1950s recording group The Mystics, known for their hits “Hush-A-Bye,” “Sunday Kind of Love,” and their remake of “White Cliffs of Dover.”
Tarangelo pays tribute to Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli, The Platters, The Drifters, and Bobby Vinton in his show.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
