Coral Springs Celebrates Local Businesses
As part of the Economic Development Week, the Coral Springs Office of Economic Development has announced the recipients of its 2024 Business Excellence Awards.
The ceremony highlighted local enterprises that have significantly contributed to the economic and social fabric of the city.
“All of the businesses who received Business Excellence Awards this year have applied their skills and passions to contribute to the betterment of our community in unique and meaningful ways,” Director of Economic Development Kristi Bartlett said. “I am really proud of this year’s winners; they truly represent the best of Coral Springs.”

Bright Pink Agency was honored with the Small Business Award, a category recognizing local businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Founded in 2008 by Madalina Iordache, this woman-owned marketing agency specializes in website services for franchise brands and supports numerous nonprofits.
Event Services Group

The Large Business Award was bestowed upon Event Services Group (ESG), a prominent event production company with nearly 300 employees. Since its inception in 1988, ESG has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of Coral Springs Corporate Park.

Darby’s Florist, a cornerstone of Coral Springs since 1975, received the Legacy Award. This mother-daughter-operated florist is known for its commitment to customer satisfaction and its motto, “Delivering Smiles Daily.”
YOUniversal Yoga
YOUniversal Yoga
The Sustainability Award was awarded to YOUniversal Yoga for its dedication to eco-friendly practices. Since opening in 2018, the yoga studio has implemented sustainable materials and supports global eco-conscious initiatives.
Genesis Counseling
Genesis Counseling
Genesis Counseling, a recent addition to Coral Springs, was named the Company to Watch. Founded by Jennifer Bishop, the practice has expanded rapidly since 2022, focusing on mental health and inclusivity.
Hellenic Republic
The Heart of the Community Award went to Hellenic Republic, a restaurant renowned for food and philanthropy. During the pandemic, they provided over 2,500 free meals to those in need, among other community support initiatives.
