The City of Coconut Creek introduces the ‘Mini Makers: Science Crafts’ program, an engaging initiative that blends science with the creativity of arts and crafts, offering a unique learning experience for children aged 6 to 9.
Scheduled to start on January 8 and running through February 5, this program promises to be a journey of discovery and fun.
Each session, set from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., will be a hands-on adventure where the participants can immerse themselves in the fundamentals of science while expressing their artistic talents through various craft projects.
The program is $45 for Coconut Creek residents and $55 for non-residents. Only credit card payments are being accepted now, with no options for cash or check payments.
The ‘Mini Makers: Science Crafts’ program will be held at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. However, the city emphasizes that spaces are limited, with a cap of 10 participants.
Registration is currently open and will continue until the program is full. Parents interested in enrolling their children can do so online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or by walking into the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
There will be no class on January 15.
