Coconut Creek has announced the dates for its popular Fun Days program for the 2024-25 school year, offering parents a solution for keeping their children engaged during school breaks and closures.
The Fun Days program, designed for children aged 5 to 13 who are currently in or have completed kindergarten, provides a day full of supervised activities, organized play, crafts, and games.
The program dates are scheduled to coincide with Broward County Public Schools’ breaks and closures.
The schedule is as follows: October 3 at the Community Center, October 14 at the Recreation Complex, November 25 through 27 at both locations, December 23, 26, 27, and 30, and January 2, 3, and 6th at both locations, March 21, 24 through 28, and 31 at both places and April 18 at the Recreation Complex.
Parents can drop off their children as early as 8:00 a.m., with the latest pick-up time at 5:30 p.m. The daily fee is $30 for Coconut Creek residents and $40 for non-residents, payable by credit card only.
Fun Days will be held at the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard and the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
With space limited to 30 participants per day, early registration is crucial. To register, parents must bring verification of their child’s age and legal guardianship to either location before registering.
