The City of Tamarac is lighting up the holiday season with its inaugural Neighborhood Holiday Lights Contest, inviting residents to transform their homes into dazzling displays of holiday cheer.
The competition offers an opportunity for the community to showcase their creativity while spreading seasonal joy throughout Tamarac neighborhoods.
The event marks a milestone in the city’s 61-year history as its first official residential holiday lighting competition. Prizes will be awarded to the top three homes with the most votes, making it an exciting and spirited event for all participants.
Residents can enter by December 18, 2024, through the City’s website at Tamarac.me/LightingContest or by sharing photos of their decorated homes on Instagram using the hashtag #TamaracTogether.
From December 19 to 25, the community is invited to visit the City’s website to vote for their favorite holiday displays.
The three homes receiving the highest votes will win a Ring Doorbell Camera and a beautifully designed yard sign recognizing their achievement
The winners will be revealed on the City’s social media channels on December 27, 2024.
