Sunrise residents are invited to join the Sunrise Police Department in celebrating National Night Out, an event that promotes community safety and strengthens neighborhood spirit.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Public Safety Building, located at 10440 West Oakland Park Boulevard.
National Night Out provides residents with an opportunity to engage directly with local law enforcement, learn essential crime prevention techniques, and gain valuable insights into community safety initiatives.
Attendees can look forward to complimentary refreshments, live music, engaging children’s activities, police demonstrations, and hands-on public safety equipment displays. McGruff the Crime Dog, the iconic mascot dedicated to crime prevention education, will also make a special appearance.
Admission to this family-friendly event is free.
