Tamarac residents can get free flu shots this fall as the city partners with Walgreens to offer vaccinations.
Held on Thursday, October 17, and Thursday, November 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, the event is open to walk-ins. Flu shots and other vaccines are available free with most insurance plans.
The patients must bring a photo ID and insurance card. Vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis for those under 65 and without insurance.
