Coconut Creek is set to host the Men’s 30+ Basketball League this summer, offering an engaging sports opportunity for men aged 30 and over.
The league will run from June 3 through September 30, with games scheduled for every Monday at the Recreation Complex located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
No games will be held on August 19 and September 2 due to scheduled breaks.
Teams interested in participating must register before the slots are filled, as the league is capping the number of teams at seven. Each team is required to pay a fee of $500, payable only via credit card at the time of registration.
Teams must consist of a minimum of five players and a maximum of ten. Participants are also tasked with providing their own matching and numbered shirts. Shirt colors and team names will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, adding an element of early competition to the league.
Games will take place at three different times: 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m., allowing players flexibility with their schedules. Registration is currently open and can be done online via the city’s WebTrac system at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center located at 1100 Lyons Road.
