High School football in Coral Springs was postponed this week, and teams are set for key rivalry matchups.
Coral Glades will play Boca Raton Community High School on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The Bobcats are 5-0 this year and recently beat Marjory Stoneman Douglas 53-0 in a matchup earlier this year.
J.P. Taravella is scheduled to play Cypress Bay High School on Monday, October 14, at 5:30 p.m. The Lightning won 43-3 last year and are currently 2-3 this year with wins over Marjory Stoneman Douglas and McArthur High School.
Coral Springs Charter has yet to reschedule their game against Pine Crest School and will play North Broward Prep on Thursday, October 17, at 6 p.m. NBP won 45-8 in their only matchup last year and is 2-6 this season.
Coral Springs High School has also not announced a date for its postponed game against Doral Academy. However, they will play Marjory Stoneman Douglas on Friday, October 18, at 6 p.m. Both teams come into the game winless, with the Eagles winning last year’s lone matchup.
