Sunrise residents are invited to celebrate the upcoming school year at the city’s Back-to-School Splash Event, set for Saturday, August 2, at the Sunrise Athletic Complex.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy free refreshments, engaging activities for children, and gather valuable information from local school representatives for the 2025–2026 academic year.
As an added incentive, the first 1,000 K–12 Sunrise students attending the event will receive complimentary school supplies and books. Students must be accompanied by a legal guardian who can provide proof of residency in Sunrise.
The Back to School Splash Event aims to provide families with essential resources while offering a festive atmosphere to help children get excited about the new academic year.
