The game featured standout athletes from Monarch, who reached the State Semifinals, and Coconut Creek, which secured a 10-3 record and a District Championship. The impressive roster included players who have already committed to playing at the next level, while others are taking the remainder of the year to deliberate on their future.
Kevin Powell, AJ Hairston, Santana Harrison, Gabriel Birnbaum, Melvin Puckett, and Holden Zeltner played for Monarch, while offensive line coach Roberto Montanez was also on the sideline.
Coconut Creek had Elijah Cannon, Jamarie Hostzclaw, Damaine Wilson, Eirik Simmons, Godson Sinelin, Hyajah Miller, Isiah Hope, and Keon Daceus.
Hairston, Birnbaum, Puckett, Zeltner, Cannon, Hostzlcaw, Wilson, Simmons, Miller, Hope, and Daceus are all signed to play, while the rest of the players will have the rest of the year to decide on their future.
