Coconut Creek parents have a special Valentine’s Day treat in store this year.
The Parks & Recreation Department is hosting “Valentine’s Parents Night Out,” an event that allows parents a night out while their kids have fun in a supervised setting.
The event takes place on Wednesday, February 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is open to children aged 5 to 12.
Children can create their own Valentine’s Day crafts; fun games will keep the kids entertained throughout the evening, and popular music and a movie as part of the festivities.
Also included are dinner and snacks.
The event will be held at the Coconut Creek Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. The cost is $25 for Coconut Creek residents and $35 for non-residents. Payments can only be made via credit card; cash or checks are not accepted. Registration is ongoing, but space is limited to 20 participants, so early registration is recommended.
To register, parents can choose one of the following options:
Online Registration: Visit CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac to register online. Ensure you have a WebTrac account before proceeding.
Walk-In Registration: Register at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
For assistance setting up a WebTrac account, contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580.
