Two newly elected commissioners will be sworn in during a Special Commission Meeting in Tamarac.
The ceremony will be held on Monday, November 25, at 6 p.m., at the Tamarac City Hall Chambers, located at 7525 NW 88th Ave.
Marlon D. Bolton, the incumbent District 1 Commissioner, will officially begin his third term in office. Bolton, who has represented District 1 since 2020, previously served as Vice Mayor from December 2019 to December 2020 and from December 2022 to December 2023.
Krystal Patterson, who will represent District 3 for the first time, will join Bolton. Patterson, whose term extends through November 2028, brings municipal administration experience to her new commissioner role.
The swearing-in ceremony will include remarks from the commissioners and light refreshments for attendees.
