The Arroyo Family Charitable Organization Hosts Pickleball Tournament In Support of Police Officer

A Coral Springs nonprofit is inviting the community to pick up their pickleball rackets and come out to compete for a good cause.

The Inaugural TAFCO (The Arroyo Family Charitable Organization) Pickleball Tournament will take place on Saturday, June 10th, at 8:00 a.m. at the Country Club of Coral Springs located at 10800 W Sample Road.

The TAFCO foundation aims to raise funds for first responders and their families who are facing challenging circumstances due to injury, illness, or loss.

This year, the foundation has organized a pickleball tournament dedicated to supporting the Honig family, specifically Sunrise Police Officer Josh Honig, who is currently unable to serve his community due to major medical surgery.

According to the TAFCO foundation, all net proceeds from the tournament will be directed towards supporting the Honig family as they navigate the challenges caused by Josh’s surgery.

The Arroyo Family Charitable Organization is a non-profit organization committed to spreading the love of Christ to first responders and their families. The Pickleball Tournament has been organized with the primary objective of assisting the Honig family during their difficult times.

The tournament is open to the public, both men and women, with players of all experience levels invited to participate.

In addition to the pickleball tournament action happening on the court, attendees can plan to enjoy food options, prizes, 50/50 raffles, music, and more in the surrounding areas.
