Coral Springs Charter School has a spiffy new sign.
Principal Gary Springer lauded the new addition to the school at 3205 North University Drive.
“We are thrilled to have this new addition to our building as it now compliments the interior aesthetics of our school that the community rarely gets to experience,” Springer said in a written statement. “Additionally, we are pleased to formally identify our school with our current logo as we have been dedicated to the education of this community for 25 years.”
The budget for the sign was $54,150.93, according to Coral Springs spokesperson Lindsey Steinberg. Of those funds, $26,861 was provided by a state hardening grant. The remaining $27,289.93 was paid for from the charter school’s operating budget, Steinberg said.
Coral Springs Charter School is a tuition-free charter school that serves grades six through 12. It was established in 1999 through a joint effort by Charter Schools USA and the city of Coral Springs.
