Good ole’ rock-n-roll, cupcakes, and Halloween fun are all coming together at the Coconut Creek Community Center’s Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 13, from 12 to 2 p.m.
And, if you hadn’t noticed, that happens to be on a Friday the 13th.
The Happy Daze Rock Band will perform your favorite oldies from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, including hits from Elvis, Dion, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Shirelles, and many others. To add to the holiday spirit, Happy Daze will add a few Halloween-themed songs.
In addition to music, there’ll be photo booths, a costume party, and cupcakes. Admission is free for Coconut Creek Senior Community Center members only. Membership costs $20 per year for Coconut Creek residents and $30 for non-residents. The community center is at 1100 N. Lyons Rd., Coconut Creek. There is still room available for the party, but seating is limited.
To join the senior center, residents must have a Florida driver’s license or a Florida ID card, plus proof of residence such as a utility bill, cable bill, or voter registration card. Non-residents must have either a Florida driver’s license or a Florida ID. For seniors wanting to join the center at the door, bring a credit card. Cash is not accepted.
