Celebrate Veterans and Support Local Scouts at Pack 179’s Sloppy Joe Dinner

Join Cub Scouts of Pack 179 for an upcoming fundraising dinner to honor local veterans and unite the community to support future scouting adventures.

This Saturday, November 9, the Cub Scouts of Pack 179 invite the community to a special Veteran’s Day Dinner Fundraiser at The American Legion Post 157, 1791 Mears Parkway in Margate. The event will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In the lead-up to Veteran’s Day, the fundraiser has been organized to celebrate veterans and raise funds to support Pack 179 Scouts with essential resources for their scouting journey.

Veterans attending the event will enjoy a complimentary meal with valid identification. All other guests are asked to pay a $6 entry fee, including a Sloppy Joe burger and a bag of chips.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly toward the Scouts’ earned patches, trips, and other scouting-related expenses.

Guests will be served by the Scouts themselves, under the supervision of their leaders.
