The City of Coral Springs is set to celebrate its 61st birthday with a series of historical events on Wednesday, July 10, at the Coral Springs Museum of History.
The festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.
According to the city, the event features free tours of the Museum of History, guided by members of the Historical Advisory Committee. City historians will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information about the city’s rich past.
Attendees will also enjoy historical-themed treats, available to the first 100 guests, and have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition city merchandise.
The celebration will include Coral Springs trivia and a historical bridge mural board-making workshop, although registration for the workshop is already full.
Coral Springs was officially chartered on July 10, 1963, as a uniquely planned “city of the future” developed by primary builder Coral Ridge Properties. This year’s birthday celebration promises to honor that legacy.
The event will be held at the Coral Springs Museum of History, located at 10250 NW 29th Street, Coral Springs, FL 33065.
