Coral Glades graduate and University of Tennessee golf star attempted to defend her title in the Sea Island Women’s Amateur Tournament on July 25-27.
After winning by two strokes in 2022, the 2020 graduate from Coral Glades finished tied for 40th in a field of 84. She shot a 73, 75, and 70 to finish at +8.
Holden won three consecutive Broward County Athletic Association Championships, four District Championships, and three Regionals wins in high school after her father was the caddy for two-time Masters Champion Bernhard Langer.
In college, Holden competed in the NCAA Tournament as a freshman and had her best result in the Gator Invitational in 2021. She has played in 24 college tournaments and placed in the top 30 three times with a low score of 69 in both the ICON Invitational and the Illini Women’s Invitational at Medinah.
