Coconut Creek Recreational Complex {Aiden Palmer}
Coconut Creek is gearing up to offer an exciting opportunity for young children this fall with its “Toddler Open Gym” program, set to begin on Monday, September 9.
This non-instructor-led program allows children ages 2 to 4 to practice their soccer and basketball skills while interacting with fun and creative stations designed to help develop agility and sharpen their motor skills.
Held at the Recreation Complex, located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, the open gym sessions will run every Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through December 16, excluding the dates of October 14, November 11, and November 25. Parents are encouraged to join their children in the interactive sessions, which have a mixture of physical activity and creativity in a playful environment.
The program is open to both Coconut Creek residents and non-residents. The daily fee is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Payments will only be accepted by credit card, and parents can accompany their children for free with a paid participant.
Registration for the Toddler Open Gym is ongoing and will remain open until the program reaches its maximum capacity of 15 participants. Families interested in securing a spot can register online at www.CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
For those opting for online registration, a WebTrac account is required, and the Recreation Complex can assist with setting one up at 954-956-1580.
