In a sea of pink, Coconut Creek High School commemorated Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its 7th Annual PINK OUT event on Friday, October 13.
The Football Field turned into a venue of unity, awareness, and hope as students, faculty, and distinguished guests gathered to honor the fight against breast cancer.
The event was led by Creek Technology Academy Magnet Coordinator Jill Ridinger, who has been hosting PINK OUT for seven consecutive years.
Under her leadership, the school has been able to rally its community to raise awareness and show support for breast cancer survivors and warriors. The students also made a standout impression; many dressed in pink from head to toe.
Among the attendees were Principal Dr. Nicole Nearor and Broward County Public Schools Board Member Nora Rupert.
