Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through December 11.
Police Assist
A victim of Police Assist-Other Agency on Johnson Road on 12/05/2023. Tradewinds Elementary – A second-grade student told the teacher that he thinks his brother killed someone. The incident occurred at the child’s home in Margate.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud – Other at Toyota of Coconut Creek on Sample Road on 12/05/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,500.
A victim of Fraud – Worthless Check/Obtain Property at Hilton Estates on NW 47 Avenue on 12/05/2023. A report of forged checks at Wells Fargo Bank was filed with police.
A victim of Fraud – Use Of Credit Card at Walgreens in Hale Plaza on Coconut Creek Parkway on 12/05/2023. The total estimated loss was $920.
Property Damage
A victim of Property Damage at Golden Raintree IV on Carambola Circle S on 12/05/2023. The landscaping company was cutting grass, resulting in a flying object shattering a residential window.
Theft
Pet Supplies Plus was a Theft – Retail/Shoplifting victim on Coconut Creek Parkway on 12/06/2023. The total estimated loss was $8,195.
A victim of Theft – Bicycle at Carrington on N State Road 7 on 12/07/2023. The total estimated loss was $600. A theft of an electric bike was reported.
Walgreens was a Theft – Retail/Shoplifting victim on Coconut Creek Parkway on 12/06/2023. The total estimated loss was $308.
A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Pet Supermarket on State Road 7 on 12/10/2023.
Animal Abuse
A victim of Animal Abuse was reported by Crimestoppers at the Banyan Bay Apartments on 12/08/2023. Crime Stoppers tip of animal abuse was reported. The animal Service Unit was notified of the incident.
Elderly Abuse
A victim of Elderly Abuse/Neglect at Wynmoor on 12/09/2023.
Homicide
A victim of Homicide (Attempted Felony Murder) at a bus stop on Coconut Creek Parkway on 12/09/2023.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary – Residence on Winston Park Blvd N on 12/09/2023.
False Imprisonment
A victim of False Imprisonment at Country Lakes Mobile Home Park on Parkside Court on 12/10/2023.
Arrests
Parlavecchio, Jerry, 42, was arrested on a charge of Petit Theft 1 Degree Prop $100 To < $750 at 4600 Coconut Creek Parkway, Coconut Creek, on 12/06/2023.
Robertswilson, Brandon, Jamal, 28, was arrested on a Possession Of Weapon Or Ammo By Other State Felon charge at 6100 N State Road 7 on 12/08/2023.
Gurmendi, Lucero, 26, was arrested on a charge of Battery-Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence at 7500 Lyons Road on 12/09/2023.
Cozier, Kenedy, Eustace, 39, was arrested on a charge of Attempted Felony Murder at 1100 Lyons Road on 12/09/2023.
Gomes, Julio, Antonio, 51, was arrested on a charge of False Imprisonment-Adult at 6800 NW 39 Avenue on 12/10/2023.
