Calling all ballers, the City of Coconut Creek has announced it will host an upcoming 4-on-4 Boys’ Basketball Tournament.
The tournament is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, October 5, at 10:00 a.m., at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. It is a half-court, double-elimination tournament for boys aged 14 to 16. Games last 12 minutes or end when a team reaches 21 points, whichever comes first.
Teams can have up to six players, and participants can only play for one team. The team fee is $20, payable by credit card only.
Registration is open until October 4 or until all spots are filled. A maximum of 6 teams are allowed to participate. Each team must provide its shirt color during registration—team colors are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested teams can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac, the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road, or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
