The City of Margate invites residents to participate in a community survey to help shape the future. The survey is part of the development of the Strategic Plan.
Titled “Tell Us What You Really Think!” the survey aims to gather insights from residents about what they value most in Margate and how the city can improve.
According to the city, the Strategic Plan serves as a roadmap for Margate’s future, guiding the city’s operations, services, and budget priorities.
The plan ensures the city remains sustainable and efficient by aligning resources with the community’s needs. Residents’ input is vital to this process, offering a chance to influence the city’s direction and priorities.
Residents can share their thoughts and ideas through an online engagement platform called Social Pinpoint, which allows for diverse ways to participate. The feedback will play a crucial role in determining key focus areas and long-term goals for Margate.
Guided by the consulting firm BerryDunn, the Strategic Plan will be a “living document,” providing stability and direction while allowing the city to adapt to changes.
Margate officials stress that community involvement is central to ensuring the plan reflects the needs and aspirations of its residents.
