Arc Culinary Cooks Up Flavorful Fundraisers This June with Burger Bash and Latin Street Food Events

Food lovers are in for a treat this summer as Arc Culinary’s Emeril Lagasse Foundation Innovation Kitchen in Sunrise launches two flavorful dining events to benefit a local nonprofit serving people with disabilities and life challenges.

Throughout June, the Chef Experience Dinner Series will offer unique, chef-curated meals, with ticket sales supporting Arc Broward’s mission to help children and adults reach their full potential.

First on the summer menu is Burger Bash, set for Saturday, June 14, at 7 p.m., featuring four imaginative takes on classic comfort food. Guests will indulge in the “alt burger,” a veggie patty made from rice, black beans, and garbanzo beans; an onion burger made with brisket and pork shoulder, topped with gruyere and black garlic aioli on a Puerto Rican Mallorca bun; and a sushi burger packed with salmon sashimi, crispy panko, seaweed salad, and fried wontons. A decadent dessert will round out the evening.

Later in the month, Latin Street Food will take diners on a culinary journey through Latin America’s vibrant street food scene. The dinner takes place Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m., and includes a “tripleta” sandwich with beef, chicken, and pork in mojo criollo; carne asada tacos with filet mignon and salsa verde; Venezuelan arepas stuffed with pulled pork and avocado; and a Latin-inspired dessert.

Tickets are $99 for the chef’s table or $89 for communal seating, including gratuity and alcoholic beverages. Both events take place at Arc Culinary’s stylish, mid-century modern venue located at 10250 NW 53rd Street in Sunrise.

Proceeds from the Chef Experience series directly benefit Arc Broward’s programs, which serve more than 1,200 individuals annually. Arc Culinary is one of the organization’s revenue-generating social enterprises, alongside Arc Educates.
