Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through December 31, 2023.

Theft

Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Atlantic Blvd on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,321.

A victim of Theft -Motor Vehicle Parts on Banks Road on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $500.

Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Atlantic Blvd on 12/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $788.

A victim of Theft – Bicycle on Rock Island Road on 12/27/2023. The total estimated loss was $80.

A victim of Theft-All Other on W Atlantic Blvd on 12/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $300.

A victim of Auto Theft on NW 1 Street on 12/28/2023.

Fraud

A victim of Fraud – Credit Card / ATM on Margate Blvd on 12/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $23,266.

Battery

A victim of Battery on Coral Lake Drive on 12/28/2023.

Criminal Mischief

A victim of Criminal Mischief on Lakewood Circle on 12/31/2023.

Arrests

Eaford, Quanisha, Karrie, Lawaun, 28, was arrested on a Larceny -Commit Grand Theft Damage Over 1000 Dollars charge at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 12/26/2023.

Plau, Leeanna, 21, was arrested on a Larceny – Commit Grand Theft Damage Over 1000 Dollars charge at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 12/26/2023.

Perry, Jalani, Christopher, 35, was arrested on a Burglary -Unoccupied Structure Unarmed charge at 1101 Banks Road on 12/26/2023.

Lazale, George, 19, was arrested on a charge of Sex Assault By 18y or Older With Victim 12y or Under, No Physical Force Violence at SW 50 Avenue on 12/26/2023.

Perez Martinez, Yoel, 37, was arrested on a Larceny Petit Theft 2 Degree 1 Offense charge at 5485 W Atlantic Blvd on 12/26/2023.

Martin, Noel, George, 26, was arrested on a Trespassing-Occupied Structure Or Conveyance charge at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 12/26/2023.

Miller, Veronica, Yvonne, 30, was arrested on a Larceny – Grand Theft 750 Less Than 5k Dollars charge at 5555 W Atlantic on 12/27/2023.

Maragh, Audrey, Elizabeth, 38, was arrested on a charge of Probation Violation -Felony at 1100 S State Road 7 on 12/27/2023.

Rojo, Jaime, David, 40, was arrested on a charge of Vehicle Theft-Grand Theft Of Motor Vehicle at 5700 N State Road 7 on 12/27/2023.

Forbes, Travoy, 18, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence at Coral Lake Drive on 12/28/2023.
