Coral Glades High School is hosting an orientation event to give prospective students a preview of what to expect before starting school in the fall.
The event, known as the Jaguar Expedition, takes place on Thursday, August 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and aims to welcome and prepare new students for their upcoming academic journey.
Registration will take place from 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. Students will not be allowed entrance into the event after 9:30, and no refunds will be provided.
The orientation aims to introduce students to the school and their classmates and give them a head start on the upcoming academic year.
The fee to attend is $25. This covers the cost of lunch, which is provided to all attendees, a custom-designed Jaguars t-shirt, student ID, educational workshops, schedule distribution, and textbook allocation.
The orientation program at CGHS is slated to help students familiarize themselves with the school’s staff and facilities so that once classes begin, they can focus on introductions and studies.
CGHS encourages interested individuals to visit their website, www.cghssga.com, for more information.
