Don’t miss an evening of classical music and show tunes with the brother and sister duo Marcel and Marcela Rasa.
A singer, Marcel performs for patients and residents at local hospitals and nursing homes, using a piano, violin, and vocals. He also performed in stage productions at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Crest Theater in Delray Beach and sang for “Deco Drive” in the X-Factor TV competitions.
Marcela sings Broadway hits, operatic arias, and songs from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
The show, held on Saturday, August 31, at 8 p.m., is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the concert night.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are prohibited in the theater, and all show attendees must be 18 years or older. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
